Den Bosch: “Very nice B&B”

***** Reviewed 11 February on Tripadvisor!

Gli Artisti is a very nice, well priced B&B, on a very short walking distance from the Vatican and metrostation Ottaviano, at the upper floor of an old Roman building.

We stayed in the yellow room; it had a private entrance. Impeccably clean, very quiet. Bed, bathroom, everything was okay.
In the breakfastroom is a little kitchen (with refrigerator) where you can make coffee, tea and have a free snack. The breakfast is typically Italian: just coffee or cappucino, juices, sweet rolls en bread to toast.
We lunched and dined several times at the Vito e Dina-restaurant, just on the opposite site of the road. Their pizza's, pasta's, and red house wine are great. Try the bressaola-rucola-parmesan-pizza!
We would definitely recommend Gli Artisti!

Amici in trasferta: Squisiti!!

Maurizio: “Molto accogliente, come in famiglia”

Julia & Max: “Home sweet Home”

Alessandro the manager is not only stylish but also he gaves 2 nice restaurant addresses and 1 bar and some good ideas for our route through. All avoiding the tourist masses as much as possible and to feel a bit of the Italian spirit. The room was quiet, clean and bright. The matress was great. The kitchen area finally made us really feel like home - thank you very much!
Warm regards, Julia & Max

Suzanna Kai Ning Ho: Friendly staff and Fantastic location

"Friendly staff and Fantastic location, Vatican City was only a few blocks away. Rooms were very clean, decorated tastefully with a mixture of modern and antique furniture. The bed and pillow was super comfortable. Breakfast although continental was lovely with a selection of pastries, cereal and fresh fruit. Fresh coffee was also provided. Overall, I loved staying here as it was so homely and comfortable."

- The water temperature in shower was quite tricky to adjust but didn't spoil my stay there.

LaramJ: “Quiet and lovely BnB in a great location”

Our friends at "A&R" suggested the Gli Aristi and it was perfect for our family. Alessandro, the proprietor arranged transportation for us from the airport and greeted us at the B&B for a friendly and informative orientation of the place and the surrounding area. The breakfast room is open all day and guests may help themselves to fruit, juice, yogurt, or bottled water at any time of day. In the mornings Chinzia or Tess are there to make you Espessos and also serve a nice assortment of pastries, cheese, and meats.

We stayed in the pink room and were very comfortable. The beds and linens were of good quality. The decor is simple, but welcoming. Everything is very clean. The shower is great. Our kids, ages 8 & 10, really loved it too. They loved practicing their Italian at breakfast with Chinzia, who was very warm and sweet to them. There is a vibe of happiness at Gli Artisti.

The location is great as much of Rome is within walking distance (Vatican is four blocks away), but also because the metro is literally around the corner. We spent three days walking and touring this beautiful city, and every night we returned to our quiet peaceful room at Gli Artisti.

I would love to stay here again one day and definitely recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Rome.
