• What's a Bed & Breakfast?
  • In Italy Bed & Breakfasts are intended as being privately managed entities in the hospitality business that can not be officially classified as being a "hotel". Usually a B&B will offer the same services and amenities as a 3 star hotel, but in a warm, peaceful, family-like environment.
  • Where exactly is your B&B?
  • We have rooms and suites in three buildings, Gli Artisti, Vespasiano 56 and Ottaviano 98, all in Rome and about 800 meters away from the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica.
  • Is the B&B easy to reach?
  • Yes. Besides driving in, if you arrive at any of Rome's airports or the central train station, you can easily reach us using a taxi, the metro, or by bus. We can arrange for our taxi service to pick you up, upon request. For additional information, please see the "How to reach Gli Artisti B&B" section.
  • How much does the B&B taxi service cost?
  • From the Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports the one-way cost is € 50.00 for up to three people, and € 70.00 for 4 to 8 people. There is a € 10.00 additional charge for taxi service between 10:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.
  • Is the B&B close to public transportation?
  • All of our B&B locations are approx. 50 meters away from the Metro's Ottaviano stop, hence you can easily and comfortably reach all the foremost attractions of the City.
  • Does the B&B have parking facilities?
  • We do not own a parking facility, but for € 13.00/night you can park in the lot just a few meters away from the B&B.
  • For 24 hours the cost is €20.00.
  • What are the B&B check-in and check-out times?
  • The rooms are available for check-ins at 1:00 p.m. and must be vacated by 10:00 a.m.
  • Should I let you know my scheduled arrival time?
  • Yes it's important for us to know at what time you plan to be here so we may better welcome you and insure your room is ready.
  • Is coming and going from the B&B allowed only at certain times?
  • No, once you're checked in you can come and go as you please, although we do ask that you respect the other guests right to have peace and quiet. Upon arrival you will receive the keys for your room and the B&B's front door.
  • Is the B&B open year-round?
  • Yes, we are open all year.
  • Is it absolutely necessary to book a room in advance?
  •  Our B&B is quite popular, therefore we strongly suggest that you reserve a room in advance through our site. This will insure that we do have rooms available and also allows you to choose the room best suited to your needs. Further, those who reserve a room in advance receive a 10% discount on the room rate. Reserve a room now.
